County Wide hits memory lane “Fool Speed” ahead in their new single, available July 22. Living for the weekend one song at a time, the 5-member band kicks off a summer of nostalgia with their upcoming release. “Fool Speed” reminisces on the good ole days, when a job was just a job and living for the moment was the only concern.
“I think this song is very relatable to everyone. It takes me straight back to simpler times when I could just blow off my job and go hang with the boys or chase girls,” bassist Anthony Campbell shares. “I love a song that can take me back in time and I feel like this one does just that.”
The chorus gives you a classic, country summer anthem, with lyrics such as “Where it ends, I don’t know; I got all day to get there and nowhere to go; A little random, lot of free.” The upbeat rhythm, and Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Montgomery Gentry writing style makes “Fool Speed” an irresistibly relatable song of the summer. After all, keys & guitarist Evan Crawford knows, "we're still trying to out live our fool speed."

"Fool Speed" is 100% County Wide, written by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Aron Bunch, and embracing the true band recording process with each and every note representing all 5 members. The first release of 2022, "Fool Speed" begins a new era of County Wide, as the band prepares for the release of a full EP.
